ATHLETIC ELIGIBILITY WAIVERS
Student Athletes who wish to continue playing sports competitively at the collegiate level may have to compete one of the following registration applications:
Registration fee waivers are offered based on need and are available to high school students who currently qualify for a waiver of SAT or ACT testing fees, for either the free or reduced-priced school lunch program, or for a minimum of $4,500 in Federal Pell Grants (this information is available once you complete your FAFSA application).

NAIA WAIVER
For a NAIA fee waiver request to be processed, an official letter confirming the student’s qualification must be sent by their current school to the NAIA Eligibility Center. The student will be able to continue filling out the online registration form, but the NAIA Eligibility Center must receive this letter before they will be able to submit their information for review.
A confirmation letter must be sent from the student’s high school guidance and include the following to be accepted:

NCAA WAIVER
For a NCAA fee waiver request to be processed, the student must complete the entire registration application online. Follow the link below in order to create your NCAA profile:
NCAA Eligibility Center
When you reach the payment portion of the application, simply select that you plan to use an application waiver. Once the waiver payment selection is made, you will be prompted to complete and submit the full application.
After you have submitted the application, contact Mrs. Shelia Reese-Jackson in the Office of Student Services at Westlake. Inform her that you have successfully completed your application and she will then confirm your waiver eligibility and submit the necessary documentation to the NCAA.
YOU MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE ENTIRE NCAA APPLICATION IN ORDER FOR MRS. JACKSON TO VIEW AND CONFIRM YOUR WAIVER REQUEST.

- National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)

- Student NAIA Identification Number
- High School Name
- Confirmation of which fee waiver criteria has been met (at least one of the following):
- Student qualifies for ACT fee waiver
- Student qualifies for SAT fee waiver
- Student qualifies for Federal free/reduced-priced lunch program
- Student qualifies for Federal Pell Grant of at least $4,500
- Name, title, and signature of individual drafting and sending the letter
- Written on official high school letterhead
